Vision Statement
Our fellowship is a haven of hope and grace where people are encouraged to make faith in Jesus Christ real in their life
The three unique attributes of our fellowship:
Acceptance
We welcome all who are willing to allow Jesus to make changes in their life through the power of His word and the Holy Spirit.
Transparency
We all have areas in our lives in which God is working. Our desire is to celebrate the work God is doing and share it with others within the body.
Discipleship
Although fellowship is important, we strive for Discipleship-the deeper process of interacting with one another to become, disciplined, biblical, mature believers.
Statement of Doctrine
Thank you for your inquiry for the “statement of doctrine” at Potter’s Foursquare Church. We hope this will answer some of your questions pertaining to what we believe.
We believe that God loves us and offers a wonderful plan for our life.
We believe that man is sinful and separated from God. Therefore, he cannot know and experience God’s love and plan for his life.
We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s only provision for man’s sin. Through Jesus we can know and experience God’s love and plan for our life.
We believe that we must individually receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God’s love and plan for our lives.
We believe that God’s Word is completely accurate from Genesis to Revelation and it is the standard of every aspect of our life.
We believe that man was created by God as recorded in Genesis.
We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin.
We believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again to pay for our sins and to reconcile us to the Father and those who accept Him as Lord and Savior will have eternal life with Him. We also believe that those who reject Him as Lord and Savior will suffer eternal punishment and separation from God.
We believe that Jesus will come again for His Church.
We believe that once you are saved that your salvation is secure for eternity.
We believe that our God is one God manifested in three persons.
God the Father
Jesus Christ the Son
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the gifts of the Spirit recorded in 1 Corinthians are for the church today. Their purpose is to build and edify the church body as a whole.
Church Structure
The following Boards and Committees are either currently functioning or in the process of being formalized.

Ministry Council
Meets regularly with the Pastor to advise and influence the ministry of the church. Discusses the needs of the body and develops ideas on how to meet those needs. Committed to pray regularly for the body. Comprised of seven or eight church members who have demonstrated a sustained commitment to the spiritual well being of the body and chaired by the Pastor.
Spiritual Council
Subordinate to the Pastor. In conjunction with the Pastor, exercises spiritual oversight over the body. Handles disciplinary matters, as needed. Resource for Pastor and shares in burden of achieving spiritual aims of the church. Called, appointed and anointed by the Pastor.
